Alexis is a qualified counsellor, with a special interest in substance use disorder. She is currently finishing an MSc in International Addiction Studies, in which her thesis is on the use and misuse of gabapentinoids. Alexis is particularly interested in recovery counselling and coaching and is passionate about supporting clients in the early stages of recovery to lead healthy, positive and substance-free lives.
Alexis has worked as a COO and CEO in the financial and wellness space in Asia and as such has experience counselling and mentoring those who work in these and other high-pressure environments.

Alexis has spent 30 years in the finance field, but has been part of the recovery community for a number of years, and is passionate about helping those who suffer from substance use disorder and their families. Alexis is currently in the final semester of an MSc in International Addiction Studies.
In her spare time, Alexis enjoys trekking and has completed the Snowman Trek in Bhutan, supposedly the hardest trek in the world! Alexis also enjoys diving and weightlifting and can be found in the gym most days. She is also an avid reader.
